The Retina-Vitreous Center is committed to providing exceptional medical care. The following information is an introduction to our practice.

About Retina-Vitreous Center, P.A.

Our practice is focused on the specialty of vitreoretinal disease, and is structured as a group practice. Each doctor has completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease in addition to a residency in general ophthalmology. All doctors are Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and all are members of the following medical societies:

  • American Academy of Ophthalmology
  • Vitreous Society
  • New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology
  • New Jersey Retina Society

We feel strongly that your medical care requires expert technical attention, as well as a relationship of confidence and trust between you and your doctor.

The physicians actively participate in the teaching program at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where Dr. Stuart N. Green serves as Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology. In cooperation with the clinical research staff at the Medical School, Retina-Vitreous Center provides ophthalmic and retinal support for the many ongoing clinical trials.

Collectively, the physicians have published dozens of scientific articles in the field of ophthalmology and retina, and have participated in several national eye research studies, including the following:

  • Pneumatic Retinopexy Study
     - Treatment of retinal detachment with intraocular gas
  • Endophthalmitis Vitrectomy Study
     - Antibiotic treatment of post cataract surgery intraocular infection
  • Complications of Age Related Macular Degeneration Study (CAPT)
