NEW STATE OF THE ART FACILITY OPENS

We are proud to have opened our new state of the art office in Toms River in the Fall of 2007.

The office was specifically designed to accommodate the special management issues related to the expanding number of intravitreal injections that we are performing. The office is nearly 5000 square feet, has eight high tech diagnostic and treatment suites, and four workup suites. The size and design allow for reduced waiting times, increased efficiencies, and improved patient satisfaction.

RVC RESEARCH FEATURED AT ACADEMIC CONFERENCES

RVC physicians have a long tradition of performing original research. Over the past three
decades, our doctors have presented dozens of papers at national and international meetings, and have published extensively in the peer reviewed literature.

We have been very successful in the academic arena again this year, presenting multiple papers at the major academic meetings. We have also supported the original research of a number of outstanding medical students from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, who have presented their work at multiple meetings as well.

HOWARD FINE, MD, MHSc JOINS RETINA VITREOUS CENTER

We are extremely pleased to announce that Dr. Howard Fine, MD, MHSc, will join our practice in January of 2009. Before joining RVC, Dr. Fine was an attending vitreoretinal surgeon at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Manhattan, where he served as the medical director of the Louis V. Gerstner, Jr. clinical research center.

Howard, a New Jersey native, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he was a member of the crew team, and obtained a dual degree, majoring in both biology and engineering. He received his medical degree with honors from Harvard medical school.

RETINA VITREOUS CENTER NEW LOCATION

We are proud to announce the opening of our new office location in Eatontown in the Fall of 2009, located on 2 Industrial Way West, just off of Route 35.

The office was specifically designed to accommodate the special management issues related to mordern retinal care, including safe and painless intravitreal injections. The office is fully equipped with technologically advanced diagnostic equipment and lasers, including spectral domain 3D OCT, to better service patients from the Jersey shore.
